The Doppelgänger or ‹double› cannot be taken into the palace square of the deity. It must be dissolved – or, the same thing, it must reconnect with the human being.
For it is a split-off piece of our being that we must reintegrate before we return to the Creator. That the doppelgänger can detach itself, that it can become a being of its own, became possible because we denied the weaknesses of our character before others and before ourselves. Reunification with this split-off part of our being can begin when we recognize and acknowledge the doppelgänger as the shadow side of ourselves.
