A hundred years ago, anthroposophy opened a door for spiritual insight to illumine all areas of life. Perhaps this was also possible because, at the same time, scientists and researchers opened a door to matter, so that matter itself became receptive to the light from above. It was one hundred years ago that Werner Heisenberg and Niels Bohr formulated the Copenhagen interpretation, according to which the indeterministic nature of the world is not due to our human fallibility but is an essential feature of existence. In short, the world “is” not—it “appears.” What physics experiments and mathematical formulas suggest, we present in this issue as a Goethean path to knowledge. We wish you a fulfilling journey on this admittedly rocky path.
