Melbourne, Australia. Online lectures on spirit and matter.
What does transformative art and architecture have to do with healthy food from biodynamic agriculture? The answer is that these things can only be transformative and healthy when they are connected to the spiritual. Spirit and matter are therefore inseparable. The five-part online lecture series “Spiritual Food for Biodynamic Farmers and Home Gardeners” will take place from March 13 to April 10. The lecturer is the Australian Waldorf educator and architect Johannes Schuster, who has been working with anthroposophical content for almost five decades and has developed the theory and methodology of transformative art and architecture based on Rudolf Steiner’s theory of the etheric. In the English-language lectures, Schuster will explain the similarities between creative processes in art and architecture and the archetypal annual cycle of a plant. He will then address the spiritual basis of natural growth sequences and explain how humanity, nature and the earth evolve together as an integrated spiritual system.
