Leaping into Transformation

The uncertainties of our time call out for new guiding imaginations. But whose imaginations are we moving toward and what qualifies one to help lead this transformation? The very notion of Leadership itself is undergoing transformation.

The World Social Initiative Forum (WSIF) believes we’ll discover this transformed world together, by living it into being. Anthroposophy makes clear that the most helpful service we provide is to develop ourselves in service to world transformation. And it is helpful to find others along the same journey!

Since our inception in 2000, The World Social Initiative Forum (WSIF) has followed the principle of Ubuntu, the African wisdom which recognizes that ‹I am because you exist›. This sense of sacred mutuality has guided the WSIF through its collaborations spanning continents, diverse cultures and communities. There is much hope and power within the goodness of the grassroots work taking place around the Earth right now!

Today, we at the WSIF once again re-dedicate ourselves to the flow of mutual human engagement embodied in our growing, living, planetary network. The WSIF continues its work convening in-person forums, hosting online programs, actively networking and fostering thriving relationships. Following our mission to create offerings in alignment with the Spirit of our Times, we have heeded the call to develop a new program entitled ‹Leadership in Transformation (LiT)›. We’re currently enrolling for a 9-month-long project where we will gather weekly for an exploration of new pictures growing from Rudolf Steiner’s radically transformative legacy. This online course will culminate with an in-person Research Conference at the Ruskin Mill Field Center in Gloucester, UK in July 2023. The full schedule and faculty are online at Leadership in Transformation – Forum.

Igniting and growing the WSIF global network is a mighty undertaking. The WSIF has extended its core team to include members who speak the variety of languages and cultures embodied in the diverse network. We invite everyone interested in this work to the Opening kick-off celebration of the LiT Forum course with a free and open Zoom call on October 25th featuring Orland Bishop and other members of the WSIF core team.

To sign-up for our newsletter if you don’t currently receive it or to RSVP for our October 25th zoom call please email contact@wsif.org.
