In February, the European Parliament endorsed the report ‹Strengthening Europe in the fight against cancer – towards a comprehensive and coordinated strategy›.
According to the report, Parliament’s Special Committee underlines the need for better prevention and free access to the highest quality care for cancer. Scientifically recognised integrative medicine can benefit patients in the treatment of many diseases and their side effects, including cancer. The report emphasises the prescription of complementary therapies under professional supervision.
