Looking Ahead with Confidence
From June 14–16, 2024, the biodynamic initiative Sekem in Egypt is hosting a colorful cultural festival in Oberbernhards, Germany, in eastern Hesse. Under the name “May We Be Stewards for the Future,” the event will celebrate the organization’s more than 45 years of commitment. In various lectures and workshops, participants of the festival will learn about the sustainable management of the initiative and its biodynamic practices in its desert climate. Through considering the examples from an Egyptian context, participants can discover how they can bring about positive change in their own social environments. The program will be rounded off with concerts, exhibitions, and other artistic performances. The registration deadline for the festival was December 31, 2023, but remaining spots may still be available.
