Born in the Netherlands in 1953. After studying Dutch philology and philosophy in Amsterdam, he studied philosophy and linguistics in Berlin. From 1987 to 1991 he worked at the Hardenberg Institute for Cultural Studies in Heidelberg, and from 1991 to 2007 he worked for the Anthroposophical Society in Berlin. Martin Kollewijn publishes on questions of philosophy and intellectual history. Other research topics: Contemporary art, development of consciousness, questions of bioethics and neuroscience.
