Jaap Sijmons is Professor of Health Law at the University of Utrecht. He studied philosophy, mathematics and law and received his doctorate in 2005 on Rudolf Steiner's philosophy. From 2014 to 2019, he was Chairman and Secretary General of the Anthroposophical Society in the Netherlands.
